Your new role
As an IT Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and foster a high-performing team through strategic vision and mentorship, while simultaneously applying your technical expertise in IT/OT systems to deliver infrastructure management that supports manufacturing operations.
In this integral position, you will significantly contribute to the development and delivery of new systems and infrastructure for API manufacturing facilities. Your primary contribution will be leading your team while ensuring the technical execution of IT systems and infrastructure projects aligned with business goals.
As an IT Manager within the IT, Automation, and Robotics Management team, your main role will be to empower your team and collaborators by defining clear priorities, setting objectives, and delivering strategic guidance. While your leadership drives team outcomes, your technical understanding allows you to advise on critical project decisions, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and ensure successful delivery of project milestones.
Your specific responsibilities will encompass:
Your primary location will be in Kalundborg, in close proximity to the manufacturing sites. Given that many of our collaborative partners operate around Copenhagen, occasional travel to work in those locations is expected.
The project holds considerable strategic significance for Novo Nordisk, enjoying high visibility and support from Senior Management. Simultaneously, you will be integrated into Novo Nordisk's IT organization, which provides support for all major expansion projects as well as operations.

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
The IT and Automation Department is made up of a diverse team of individuals with a variety of nationalities and professional experiences. The team atmosphere is very inclusive and the team members support each other in getting acclimated to Novo Nordisk and life in Kalundborg. You will find the team inviting and collaborative in finding solutions and supporting each other’s tasks. Due to the fast pace of project life, our team is very dynamic and is able to shift priorities in order to support project milestones.
