Join Novo Nordisk as Senior Management Assistant and become the organisational backbone for leaders while advancing your career in a global company. This fast‑paced role combines executive support and event management with regional coordination, offering international exposure and real ownership.
Your new role
As Senior Management Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalised, efficient, and responsive administrative, organisational, and secretarial support to all functions within the business area in an organised and timely manner. You will align activities, events, and communications at various levels across the organisation and coordinate mobility and relocation activities with stakeholders daily. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative assistance to senior leaders, including visa, travel, logistics, meeting arrangements, event coordination, and relocation
- Coordinating daily agendas in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and arrange visits for external and internal visitors
- Coordinating large-scale events and meetings — international, regional, and local meetings and trainings, cycle meetings, Health Care Professional meetings, department meetings, and other events
- Preparing and following up on the annual meeting calendar for the responsible Senior Leaders, book meetings, and ensure that all relevant communications and logistics are in place
- Ensuring system approvals, monitoring cost-centre budgets, preparing expense reports, and processing invoices for expenses
- Managing end-to-end mobility for Business Area Middle East & Central Asia (BAMECA), acting as the primary contact for relocations and coordinating housing, third‑party vendors, contractor contracts, onboarding/offboarding, and other process aspects in collaboration with People & Organization partners
Your new Department
Business Area Middle East & Central Asia (BAMECA) spans 22 diverse countries with a combined population of about 640 million people. More than 600 employees are part of BAMECA, spread across seven affiliates and clusters. The BAMECA management team consists of seven General Managers based in various countries across the Middle East and Central Asia, and five functional Directors based at the business area HQ in Istanbul.
Your skills & qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have a minimum of five years’ work experience in a multinational company, including experience supporting senior leadership and in event planning. Moreover, we expect that you have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- An eager-to-learn and can-do attitude
- Resilience and flexibility in responding to changing business dynamics, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Discretion with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong and proactive internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks independently and take initiative
Experience working in a regional environment and with relocation is an advantage.
