Your new role

As an HR Strategic Project Manager, you will:

  • Drive P&O cross-functional projects in alignment with the P&O strategy, ensuring efficient resource utilization and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design and lead communications for P&O, including monthly meetings and off-site events, while supporting the Head of P&O and the P&O Leadership Team (LT).
  • Optimize and standardize local P&O processes by analyzing business workflows and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, governance, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Act as a role model by fostering collaboration, providing coaching and feedback, and empowering team members to achieve high performance, while representing projects in internal governance and Steering Committee meetings for transparency and progress reporting. 

 

Your new department

You will be part of the P&O team based at our Japan headquarters in Tokyo. Our department is dedicated to supporting Novo Nordisk’s P&O related strategic objectives, employee development and care, by driving impactful projects and optimizing processes. You’ll work closely with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including Global Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and the P&O Leadership Team.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for an HR Strategic Project Manager who will enjoy working in a dynamic, high-paced environment. You’ll bring with you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Minimum 5-7 years or longer experiences in HR, preferably in HR Project Management, Organizational Development, or Organizational Culture. Also open to candidates experienced in internal communications and corporate affairs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including HR planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement; Familiarity with project management tools, methods, and templates and HR Project experiences such as setting up timelines; project objectives/milestones/priorities; and experiences with process improvement would be highly relevant for this position.
  • Language fluency in both Japanese and English is highly important to work with multiple stakeholders, hence native Japanese speaker is required in this role.
