You will be part of the Production Engineering and Facilities team at our Koriyama Factory in Fukushima. Our mission is to ensure that facility and Material Handling Systems (MHS) are always ready for production, while continuously stabilising and improving these systems. We work closely with stakeholders across the plant to manage process changes, deviations, and energy-saving initiatives. With a focus on SAP PM operations and facility maintenance, we strive to create a safe, efficient, and innovative environment for our employees and the patients we serve.

The position
As a Facility and SAP Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and MHS.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspect buildings, facilities, and MHS, focusing on energy efficiency while replacing parts.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide on-site support as needed.
• Execute regular maintenance activities as scheduled (daily, monthly, quarterly).
• Procure and manage goods or repair and maintenance (R&M) services from external vendors.
• Conduct risk assessments and change control for changes impacting GxP, product quality, or patient safety, while setting up and operating the SAP PM system for plant maintenance.

Qualifications

• University graduate, preferably with a degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in facility work or at least 1 year of experience with SAP-PM.
• Proficient in both English and Japanese, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrates ownership, leadership, collaboration, and a proactive, innovative mindset.
• Adaptable to change, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
