The position
As a Sr Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will lead the DP&SE GBS teams and manage global stakeholder relationships across Novo Nordisk’s value chain. You will:
•  Oversee Software Engineering teams, including PowerApps, Platform Capabilities, and Digital Products, drive transformation of software engineering delivery model. 
•   Drive a cost-effective and scalable organization, combining software engineering expertise with user needs.
•   Set strategic technical and solution direction, develop operating  models, and build Service Level Agreements and Governance Models.
•   Manage service delivery, project prioritization, and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks.
•   Engage with stakeholders, build strategic partnerships, and ensure KPIs and budget transparency.
•   Own and manage the GBS PowerApps System & People budget, coordinating vendor operations.
•   Lead and develop the SEP GBS team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Attract, onboard, and ensure long-term competency mix in the organization.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
•    12+ years of experience in IT.
•    7-8 years of experience with multiple technologies.
•    5-7 years of consulting and process re-engineering experience.
•    Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
•    In-depth knowledge of Software Engineering practices, including DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies.
•    Proven track record of driving transformation in client operations.
•    Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

The Digital, Data & IT India team is a group of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. Our department is responsible for managing IT, including System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, and Vendor Management. We are an integral part of the DD&IT and support, operate, and further develop the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk. With a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, we foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and deliver world-class IT solutions.
