No, our corporate language is English so speaking Danish is definitely not a requirement.

Be yourself and share why Novo Nordisk is a place you want to work for. What motivates you and why you think being a graduate is amazing. We would like to know who YOU are.

Yes, as long as you plan to graduate within the same year that you are starting in a Graduate position. It is also okay if you have not received your official graduate diploma before starting in the Graduate Programme, as long as you have finished your studies and are just waiting for the official papers.

Typically, the graduates tend to start the programme straight after their Master’s degree, but 1-2 years after your Master’s degree will still be considered.

Previous pharmaceutical work experience is not a requirement to apply to the programme. What is ‘relevant’ work experience/ internship experience changes based on which track it is you choose to apply to.

Yes, the Graduate Programme is considered a full time position and your salary will be comparable with an entry level position. Salary and benefits such as pension and health insurance are based upon local terms, depending on where you are hired.

When you relocate to Denmark for your headquarter rotation allocation within the graduate program, we will support you in finding a place to live. It will be in central Copenhagen with easy access to public transport and depending on your program track, you will be either on a shared apartment with other Graduates or on a building together. This is a great way of starting a network when living in a new country.

If you start in an International Operations programme track, you will have to be a resident in the country you start in and accommodation in the first rotation will be your full responsibility.

For all programme tracks, you will get support when going on your international rotation(s), so you won’t have to worry on the practicalities around the relocation process.

Yes, anybody from any nationality can apply to the programme. If selected, Novo Nordisk helps you secure your work visa.

You will join a host department as an equal member of the team. You will typically rotate in areas of the business where the graduate programme is well known and respected, which often leads to managers trusting you with responsibility and expecting you to deliver of high quality, while continuously having your development in focus.

There is no specific job waiting for you after the programme as you will apply for an open position in the company. However, the programme is designed to prepare you for a career in Novo Nordisk, hence the programme management will help you finding the next position in the company that is right for you, and help you applying for it.

In the IO graduate programme tracks you are offered permanent positions after the programme in your home country / region.
