In Novo Nordisk, Global Procurement is responsible for sourcing and purchasing billions worth of services and materials across the business. Our responsibilities include establishing and anchoring supplier strategies, negotiating contracts, identifying sourcing needs, driving the sourcing and procurement process, managing stakeholder and supplier relationships.

In addition, Global Procurement supports the organisation by prioritising key business activities and strategies to achieve the highest potential total supply chain value while taking quality, risks, savings, environmental and social aspects into consideration. Consequently, Global Procurement is one of the main drivers of Novo Nordisk’s Circular for Zero strategy and largely contributes to the aspiration to have zero environmental impact.

Working at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference to patients and society while also delivering exciting results from a business perspective.

During the two-year programme, you will undertake three rotations of eight months each: You will work in different departments (direct and indirect spend) in our corporate headquarters in Denmark. In addition, you will have one to two international rotations, where you will support one of our affiliates or production sites located around the globe.

Moreover, throughout the two years, you will receive formal training and gain knowledge and invaluable international experience leading to both professional and personal development. For instance, you will develop core skills in areas such as supply strategy, contract negotiation, financial planning, procurement systems, change management, project management etc.

For the positions starting in September 2025, we are looking for candidates with:

  • A recent and relevant master’s degree in a relevant field, for example within supply chain management, finance, economics or engineering with strong academic achievements
  • International experience either from studies abroad or internships
  • Relevant work experience from internships, student jobs, or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies, e.g. within procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, or operations management
  • International mindset and ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Team-player attitude, excellent communication skills, high drive and an eagerness to learn
  • Global mobility and professional fluency in English

The Supply Chain organisation is focused on delivering reliable and future-proof end-to-end supply chain planning with the use of digital tools and in close cooperation across the global organisation.

In the role as Supply Chain Graduate, you will develop an understanding that spans across the Global Supply Chain during your rotations. 1. Supply Chain, HQ: Deep understanding of one of the Supply Chain functions from short-, mid- to long-term planning, logistics or Digital Supply Chain provides you with the opportunity to support management in future Supply Chain decisions

2. Supply Chain, International Operations: Building on the value chain, you will gain an understanding of working with Supply Chain in our affiliates with a key focus on delivering products to patients.

3. Supply Chain, Production Site: Support management decision making on aligning production priorities with market needs.
