Your New Role
As a Global Customer Insights Associate Lead, you will own end-to-end IQVIA MIDAS operations and commercial sales data management, ensuring clean, validated and timely data feeds for analysis and reporting. You will translate MIDAS and Rx datasets into actionable insights and/or dashboards, support recurring management reports, manage data governance and vendor relationships, and drive automation and process improvements to enable data-led commercial decision making across markets.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end IQVIA MIDAS operations: monthly/quarterly SAP data loads, ingestion, transformation and stakeholder releases.
- Clean, code, reconcile and QA MIDAS sales data to ensure timely, validated inputs for analysis.
- Manage ad-hoc MIDAS requests (queries, data extractions, Analytics Link, TPA requests, claims letters).
- Maintain documentation, SOPs and operating manuals; drive standardization and continuous process improvement.
- Act as data governance focal point for MIDAS and commercial datasets; ensure privacy, legal and compliance requirements are met.
- Oversee third-party data agreements and vendor interactions (e.g., IQVIA); monitor deliverables and SLAs.
- Translate MIDAS/Rx data into actionable insights and market performance trackers; develop and maintain dashboards (MS Excel/Power BI/other BI tools).
- Support recurring management reporting (e.g., bi-monthly Market Execution Report) with narratives and recommendations.
- Own quarterly ESG patient-reach reporting and audit support; ensure market share and ESG data are accurate, documented and audit-ready.
- Develop automation and custom analysis tools (Advanced Excel/VBA, Power BI, SAP BW/BO, scripting) to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree (preferably quantitative/management) plus a bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Science/Biotech or Engineering; strong academic record preferred.
- 5+ years of work experience in Pharma Analytics; consulting experience is a plus.
- Core capabilities: Proven experience handling large commercial datasets end-to-end — data pulls, cleansing/sanitisation, integration and reporting.
- Problem solving: Translate business questions into efficient analysis plans and deliver actionable insights.
- Should have experience with data privacy, governance and vendor management is preferred.
- Must-have technical skills: Advanced Excel/VBA, PowerPoint and Power BI. SAP (SAP BW, optionally SAP BusinessObjects), SQL and Python.
- Must have working familiarity with IQVIA LRx/LAAD and awareness of relevant therapy areas and market dynamics.
- Strong quantitative and strategic thinking, high attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication, and effective cross geography stakeholder management.
- Must have ability to lead insights generation, present and influence senior stakeholders, take ownership and adapt to changing priorities
