Your new role
As Project Execution Controls Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of R&ED CAPEX projects by driving the development and implementation of robust and fit-for-purpose project controls. You will work both at project level and across portfolio, securing implementation of standardisation and best practices.

We are seeking a Project Execution Controls Specialist who possesses substantial experience in project planning and risk management, and who ideally understands dynamics of complex CAPEX project and portfolio management.
Your new department
R&ED Investments is a team consisting of experienced Project Managers, as well as portfolio professionals, PMO specialists, cost controllers and other project enabling functions. We enable science by leading professionalised development and execution of CAPEX projects (e.g., laboratories, research facilities, offices) & optimising the value/risk of investments at project and portfolio levels. Our Project Managers specialise in a variety of project types, including construction, automation, equipment and digital projects. Our team serves across R&ED SVP areas. We lead projects globally, including across Denmark, US, UK, and China.
Your skills & qualifications
You have a proven track record of project execution controls on complex cross-functional (and possibly global) projects through development and construction. Preferably, you have experience from CAPEX construction projects within food science, life science, or energy industry or other. To be successful in this position, we expect you to have:

You are practical and pragmatic, knowing how to adapt ideal best practices to projects of different sizes, complexity, and archetypes (construction/automation/equipment/digital) and avoid overwhelming teams with complexity. You enjoy being an integral part of a project team, while also maturing project controls across portfolio.

We therefore embrace the hybrid workplace – we blend site office-based work in Maaloev, Denmark where our team is based with work from home. As part of a global team, we expect to have some flexibility in terms of working hours. Occasional travel to US and UK could be expected.
