Diabetes, Obesity and MASH (DOM)

Måløv, Denmark

It is not unusual to advance scientific research, but in this role, you’ll redefine it.

By driving digital innovation, you’ll shape the future of early drug discovery and create a lasting impact on a pioneering field.

Your new role
In Diabetes, Obesity and MASH (DOM), we are looking for two Digital Domain Leads, each with a distinct area of focus:

Digital Domain Lead in In-Vitro Workflows, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices to digitally enable these workflows in early drug discovery. This role involves close collaboration with scientists, data engineers, and digital product teams to optimise laboratory processes and improve data flow efficiency.

Digital Domain Lead in Scientific Knowledge & Project Management, you will focus on establishing best practices for scientific knowledge management in early research, ensuring that scientific insights are captured, structured, and reused effectively across the organisation. The other part of the role focuses on optimising the ways our projects are managed, working closely with our Project Vice Presidents to ensure that we identify the opportunities to manage our projects more efficiently across the project lifecycle.

In either role, you will:

  • Drive digital domain strategies aligned with DOM’s scientific and operational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and co-create solutions
  • Lead or contribute to digital product identification, development, and implementation
  • Promote and support implementation of FAIR data principles and scalable digital practices
  • Act as a thought leader and change agent within your domain

These positions don’t have formal people management responsibility, but indirect leadership is a central part of the roles.

Your new department
In Research & Early Development, you’ll be part of a unit that researches transformative therapies that are scalable and globally accessible. We combine scientific questions with AI tools and human data, partner with leading institutions, and value curiosity and diversity of thought. Together, we explore scientific ideas and advance them into treatments for clinical testing.

These roles are anchored in the Digital & Data team within DOM and report to the Vice President of the area. You will join a diverse and collaborative team of digital strategists and data orchestrators, all working to accelerate digital transformation in drug discovery.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team that is redefining how we discover and develop medicines. This is your opportunity to shape the future of digital science in one of the world’s leading healthcare companies.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a driven person ready for a time when working smarter, faster, and better is essential to shaping the future. You’ll bring with you:

  • A master’s or PhD in life sciences, bioinformatics, data science, or a related field, with proven experience driving digital transformation in pharmaceutical R&D or through strategic consultancy
  • Deep understanding of in-vitro workflows or scientific knowledge management and project management in a research context
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and bring people together
  • Hands-on experience with digital tools, data platforms, and project management methodologies
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with the vision to navigate and connect the intersections of science, technology, and business
