The Position

You will be responsible for the transfer and implementation of analytical methods to CMOs under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). You will serve as the primary point of contact for analytical coordination, ensuring robust method lifecycle management and compliance. You will:

  • Coordinate analytical development, validation, and lifecycle activities between Novo Nordisk and CMOs and act as the main contact person for CMOs, ensuring timely implementation of analytical methods.
  • Author and review SOPs, technical transfer plans, protocols, and reports.
  • Support Quality Control setup for analytical testing of raw materials, excipients, and intermediates from late development to market.
  • Prepare for and contribute to audits and inspections.
  • Lead and drive process improvement initiatives within the department.

 

You may need to travel for up to 4 trips (approximately up to 25 days in total) per year.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. We expect that you have:

  • A Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related natural science field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QC analytical method validation (such as HPLC, GC, KF).
  • Knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, EP/USP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ideally you have experience working with CMOs in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Cultural awareness and ideally some international experience.

About the Department

You will be part of our Drug Substance Team within CMO Material Support department.

The CMO Material Support department ensures material support for both Drug Substance and Drug Product CMOs. We collaborate across functions including Development, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, and Sourcing, as well as with global production sites and external partners. You’ll join a newly established team focused on Drug Substance CMOs, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
