If yes, then you may be our new Moulding Tool Engineer to join our department on an exciting journey where we support Novo Nordisk’s ability to deliver prefilled and durable medical pen systems to our patients.

 

 

The position

Together with the rest of the team you will support the global production expansion of plastic components for Novo Nordisk different device systems. You will get the ownership of several moulds feeding into our global plastic component production network. Hence this position requires a high level of collaboration across the organization and with contract manufactures. As such it is crucial to maintain good relationships with people inside and outside our organization. You will collaborate closely with technicians, manufacturing development engineers, mould makers and contract manufacturing organizations where you will act as an anchor point for your own tools.

 

You will be working on ordering, commissioning, and validation of new injection moulding tools. You will also support and drive different types of technical projects focusing on continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will be involved in deviation handling which includes systematic problem solving, root-cause investigation and implementing preventive measures. Another key aspect is that you, together with your colleagues share best practices and together improve our standards of working i.e. working in a LEAN way.  We can offer you an international workplace with great colleagues with whom you can spar and develop your ideas and knowledge. You should expect up to 40-50 international travel days a year.

 

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we imagine you have:

 

  • You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical background. Or you could also have a background as a toolmaker.
  • You have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience from an engineering position within production of plastic components in a GMP environment where you have gained an in-depth knowledge of injection moulding tools.
  • As a person, you are self-driven, high-quality mindset, proactive with a high degree of responsibility.
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate clearly in English.
  • You are curious by nature and dare to challenge status quo.

 

 

About the department

Component Capacity Expansion in FPMSAT (Finished Product Manufacturing Science and Technology) is located in new buildings in beautiful surroundings in Hillerød, Denmark. The department consists of around 60 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for expansion and maintaining our fleet of moulding-, decoration- and robot equipment, and installing new capacity.
