As a Senior IT and Automation Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in guiding and developing a team of people leaders, project managers, and engineers. You’ll oversee IT and automation execution activities and lead the strategic alignment of projects with global standards while ensuring a seamless transition from project execution to operational readiness.

 

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and mentor a team to foster leadership and ensure successful delivery of IT and automation solutions
  • Manage scope, timelines, resources, and budgets to align with both local and global strategies
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and smooth integration
  • Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to streamline execution activities
  • Ensure smooth project execution by monitoring program progress, driving risk management, and addressing challenges proactively, paving the way for project success from execution to operational readiness

 

This leadership position demands strategic oversight, influencing decision-making processes, and maintaining transparency through strong communication across all levels of the organisation.

 

Candidate profile

Our ideal candidate demonstrates both technical expertise and strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT and automation initiatives within complex environments.

 

To thrive in this position, we imagine you meet most of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field paired with proven experience in managing teams and delivering IT and automation projects
  • Experience in program management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2)
  • Extensive knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) principles and their application in manufacturing
  • Working familiarity with production environments and automation systems
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in English and Danish, as well as leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams effectively

 

As a person, you are proactive, strategic, and quality-focused, thriving on inspiring both technical teams and senior stakeholders. You possess strong interpersonal abilities and have a flair for leveraging innovative solutions to meet ambitious project goals.

 

About the department

Product Supply – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future. Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.

 

As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
