Project Manager with Portfolio Management Experience

Are you a motivated Project Manager with a strong interest and experience in portfolio management? Do you strive working with data and want to take ownership in securing high quality data, to analyse and utilise for decision making? Then you could be our new Project Manager in Product Supply (PS) Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) to support in driving a strong project portfolio management setup, with effective project execution and analytical data handling and transparency for active decision making and prioritisation across the AMSAT organisation. 

The position
As Project Manager in the project portfolio management (PPM) group within AMSAT Business Support, you will support our organisation by managing diverse projects and operational tasks to drive operational excellence, all of which contribute to our business operations and strategic aspirations. You will be working closely to the PPM group and will be an integrated part of a cross-functional PMO team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collect, analyse, and interpret project-related data as well as to provide insights and recommendations for effective project tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, navigating a complex stakeholder landscape to gather and refine data inputs, ensuring accurate representation of project progress and outcomes.
• Manage and support various projects in the AMSAT organization that align with our business strategy, from strategic initiatives to everyday tasks.
• Assist the PMO with data visualization and reporting, utilizing tools such as Power BI to present actionable insights clearly and effectively.
• Engage with a diverse range of projects and stakeholders, showcasing your ability to adapt and support as needed as part of a cross-functional PMO team.

delivering impactful results through data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications
Your experiences include:

• Academic degree within project management, business or similar
• Minimum +3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on portfolio management
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data structuring, collection and analysis; proficiency in Power PPM, Team Planner, and Power BI is a significant advantage
• Experience with resource management is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, with English as the working language
• A "yes can do" attitude, able to juggle multiple projects—including everyday tasks—while supporting diverse stakeholders

You have a continuous improvement and analytical focused mindset and able to work with a high degree of independence and ability to structure and prioritise work. You see yourself as being pragmatic and solution oriented.

About the Department
AMSAT supports global production sites by innovating manufacturing processes while ensuring quality and compliance. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders, mainly in Denmark, but AMSAT is expanding globally. The area comprises over +1,300 employees across locations like Lyngby, Bagsværd, Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg, with the main working locations being Lyngby and Bagsværd.

You will be anchored in the Business Development & Operations team within AMSAT Business Support, who besides Project Portfolio Management are driving activities such as management- and admin support, financial- and investment planning, strategy, facility and environmental and health & safety (EHS). The team consists of around 25 skilled professionals who values a fun, motivating, and development-oriented environment, fostered through social committee events, collaboration, and development activities.
