About the position

We are seeking an IT Security & Operations Lead to join our leadership team within the pharmaceutical sector, specifically covering the Digital, Data & IT – Product Supply – API manufacturing area 4 (DDIT PS API M4). In this vital role, you will enhance the IT security and operational efficiency of our factories located in Kalundborg, Hillerød, and Gentofte by being present on-site, fostering close relationships with teams and production operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional leadership to IT security and infrastructure teams across our pharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
  • Be actively present at the factories to ensure strong collaboration and communication with personnel, reinforcing IT security and operational practices.
  • Assess and strengthen IT security of our facilities.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and GAP analyses to identify and implement opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to develop and execute strategic plans for security and infrastructure improvements.
  • Leverage your expertise alongside resources from the Global IT organization to drive effective initiatives.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the organization to mobilize support and ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead IT security and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals in the pharmaceutical landscape.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT security and operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in driving and developing IT Security and risk across API, including proposing and implementing improvement initiatives such as firewall management and monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP data and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong track record in managing cross-functional IT projects and initiatives related to IT security, IT risk, and IT operation, including project management and setting direction for local competences.
  • Proven experience with all aspects of IT - from specification and implementation to daily operation and maintenance.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

About the team

You will be joining DD&IT PS API M4, which supports Novo Nordisk’s API manufacturing sites. API M4 is responsible for manufacturing in the Rare Disease space covering primarily Growth Hormone and Haemophilia products. You will be part of the leadership team in DDIT PS API M4 and you will work closely together with our teams across Zealand. You will have the support of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the success of our operations and large expansions projects. You will be part of a large, growing organization that works both physically together and in virtual teams.
