The Position

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and continuously evolving the Digital Checklist in collaboration with your agile team. You'll set the strategic direction of the application while actively engaging with stakeholders across various production lines to understand their needs and guide development.

 

Your main tasks will be:

 

•                                           Preparing and driving the definition of the product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with Business Owners and the development team.

•                                           Building, prioritizing, and maintaining the team backlog for the Digital Checklist.

•                                           Driving innovation and ensuring timely execution of updates and improvements.

•                                           Ensuring stable operation and continuous delivery of the application.

•                                           Collaborating with global stakeholders within manufacturing to gather in-sights and feedback.

 

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to bridge Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) with Digital, Data, and IT (DD&IT), digitalizing production through innovative solutions. As part of an agile software development team in Bagsværd and Ørestaden, you will combine IT and business expertise to set the strategy for the Digital Checklist. Working alongside developers, designers, UX specialists, and Implementation Partners, you will ensure our production lines remain at the forefront of technology by successfully deploying applications globally.

 

Moreover, this role involves engaging with a global product, facilitating collaboration across international production sites, and providing opportunities to visit these locations. This hands-on approach enables you to gather valuable feedback and make impactful improvements, ensuring Novo Nordisk stays ahead in delivering life-changing solutions.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

•                                           Have a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science, or any other related field.

•                                           Have a proven track record of setting a direction in previous roles, potentially as a former Product Owner or Project Manager. Possess the confidence to lead decisively while communicating clearly and empathetically milestones and goals.

•                                           Have great stakeholder engagement skills.

•                                           Are fluent in English both written and verbal. Danish is a plus but not mandatory.

 

Familiarity with agile practices such as Scrum and DevOps is an advantage, as we operate in an agile environment. Experience in pharmaceutical production is a plus.

 

As a person, you are empathic and energetic, excelling in environments with high empowerment. You can engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all organizational levels and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives. Your communication skills are strong, and you feel confident presenting to larger audiences. You are passionate about agile methodologies and eager to deliver value with your unique skillset.

 

About the department

FPM Engineering is a cross-functional unit that plays a crucial role in improving production lines worldwide. We work closely with the Digital Products & Software Engineering team (DP&SE) to implement innovative digital tools. These tools help operators, technicians, and engineers manage production processes more efficiently. By enhancing how our production lines work, we ensure that Novo Nordisk can provide more life-changing treatments to patients around the globe.
