  • Ensuring excellent project management, oversight, and execution of strategic projects, optimizing how we work, while driving cross-area activities, such as the strategy process, and securing knowledge sharing with the other Business Partners in GMA.
  • Also ensuring there is an overview of the budgets across all our 5 Medical Affairs focus areas and suggesting allocation/projects to the Medical Director based on your insight and the strategic direction for the area.
  • Working on both the conceptual level by developing the Strategic Medical Product Plan, medical education strategy, and global launch strategies with the medical doc-tors/director, but also "getting your hands dirty" with the execution of projects and fol-low-up on budgets and project milestones.
  • Securing tracking, reporting, and performance management in alignment with the Medi-cal Director and the team.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A master’s degree in business, natural sciences, or other related fields. Passion for project management and stakeholder engagement, as well as an understanding of the interplay between science and business within the pharma industry is crucial.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in cross-functional, global project management preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or experience from various areas within the pharma value chain.
  • An understanding of the Medical Affairs role is a requirement.
  • The ability to communicate ideas assertively and work with budgets in Excel.
  • Proficiency in strategically planning and executing across multiple projects simultaneous-ly, working both in a team and independently, and explicitly prioritizing while moving at high speed.
  • Fluency in both oral and written English.

As a person, we are looking for someone who can bring a can-do attitude, a collaborative mind-set, and a healthy sense of humor to their work even when the pressure is on. You should have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative and responsibil-ity for your projects.

About the department
You get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team with a variety of back-grounds (project management, natural sciences, strategy, marketing, finance, and international business). We use our differences to challenge each other to ensure high performance, to create novel ideas, and develop high-quality solutions. In the Business Partner team, we engage stake-holders both externally in the scientific community and internally in Novo Nordisk. We work on both a strategic and operational level, and drive projects across Medical Affairs in HQ and world-wide. To ensure impact of our projects, we collaborate with key affiliates and other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of the Medical Affairs function globally and to contribute to the Medical Affairs Vision of Improving Patient’s Lives.
