The position
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a strategic program within our organization. This role provides the opportunity to inherit a well-established framework, com-plete with roadmaps, prioritizations, KPIs, and timelines. You will drive this program to the next level while ensuring continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment. As the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and leadership, you will lead cross-functional teams to achieve set objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate projects tracks that consists of cross-functional teams of experts, ensuring alignment with SoOp business objectives and processes.
  • Create comprehensive project plans detailing scope, benefits, workstreams, timelines, costs, milestones, governance, RACI, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and conduct key meet-ings, including steering committee sessions.
  • Identify and apply best practices while facilitating knowledge sharing across SoOp, 
  • Communicate project progress and performance to all relevant stakeholders, translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

 

Please note that the department will be relocating, and the new office will be in Taastrup starting in January 2026.

 

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in economics, finance, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8+ years of proven project/program management expertise.
  • Possess familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Display a successful track record of effectively managing multiple projects in a dynamic set-ting.
  • Showcase fluency in both written and spoken English.

 

As a person, you possess strong communication and collaboration skills, are structured with a highly analytical mindset, motivated by creating results and have excellent problem-solving skills. You are motivated, work well under pressure, and respect the opinion of others while being able to drive a decision through the team. Your time-management skills are excellent, and you can decisively priori-tise, triage, and make real-time decisions as well as follow up and follow through. Finally, you think strategically and anticipate changes that could affect projects.

 

About the department 
Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations (SoOp), which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 700 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the SoOp function globally.
