  • Strong knowledge of DCS and Operational Technology (OT) architectures, including servers, clients, connectivity, user administration, backup solutions, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting integrations between automation systems and surrounding IT/OT platforms, including data flows, interfaces, signal handling, and system connectivity.
  • An understanding of change control, testing, documentation, and compliance requirements within regulated industries.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

It would be advantageous if you have experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or another highly regulated production environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will help maintain and develop critical DCS solutions that support production operations and business objectives.

You will:

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of ABB 800xA systems.

  • Support integrations between ABB 800xA and surrounding systems, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP/EWM, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), and PI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, system errors, and interface-related challenges to ensure stable operations.
  • Participate in upgrades, patches, system releases, backup and restore activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure documentation, testing, validation, and change management activities are completed in compliance with cGMP, GAMP, data integrity requirements, and relevant industry standards.
