•    Master's or PhD’s degree in Computer Sci-ence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

•    Extensive knowledge of data science and sta-tistics

•    Excellent command of spoken and written English

Professional Experience专业经验:       

•    At least 5 years in a data focused position. Substantial experience working in data driven projects.

•    Experience with cross functional teams and agile meth-odology.

•    A high degree of independence and initiative to consist-ently ensure a strong innovation mindset to contribute to digital strategy fine tune and MI team development.

•    Proven in-depth knowledge and experience to conduct complex data analysis, modeling and on large data sets, develop appropriate data services and applications to serve business better.

•    Rich experience on all aspects of data science tech stacks, i.e., Data warehouse and Data lake, Databases, big data tools, Data ETL.

•    Solid knowledge and skills relevant for NN Business cross-functional understanding, integration design and architecture thinking, flexible with design patterns like DDD/TDD to make solutions easy to be replicated and scaled, architecture fit NN business as well.

•    Expert of both front-end and back-end programming languages, In-depth knowledge of DevOps and method-ologies.

•    Hands-on experience with AI/ML in following areas, CV, NLP, Time-Series, familiar with open-source tools.

Key responsibilities of Data Scientist that demonstrates the variety of roles that the organization expects the position to fulfil:

•Set direction for Data science toolbox, data architecture and workflows development to support STJ digital transfor-mation

•Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services, i.e., digital solutions, governance processes, both business and technical architecture to meet the vision of ‘digital factory’

•Virtual community creation and participation to foster digital culture influencing by extending  business understand-ing, architecture and digital solutions across IFP even PS

•Guide and develop data analysts to meet high competence digital talent demands

Main Job Tasks 主要工作任务:     

1)  Data science navigating and development:

Set direction of Data science toolbox, data architecture and workflows of cross-function working team to streamline and optimize the STJ data products governance process based on deep understanding of business context.

Constantly support and refine the work division of MI and DDIT collaborative team aiming for higher efficiency and productivity.

Provide sparring for management on strategic data challenges and opportunities.

2)  Data products delivery:

Responsible for business request analyze, common data models development and data relocatable data services development.

Participate in solution design stage with team, influence data architecture, framework and solutions developing in line with STJ vision of ‘digital factory’.

3)  Technical Research and Frontier Exploration:

Continuously research and evaluate new AI/ML tools and technologies, implementing appropriate technologies based on business needs.

Lead technology selection and tool evaluation to ensure the chosen technologies effectively support data analy-sis projects and business requirements.

4)  Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Work closely with business departments to understand their needs, ensuring data analysis projects address real business problems and promote data-driven decision-making.

Create and participate in various of global/local virtual communities advocating for digital transformation, and contribute to PS/IFP level standard digital execution.
