Are you organised, proactive and passionate about creating structure in a busy environment? As a Department Assistant, you play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, strong collaboration and seamless support across teams and leaders. This role is a 12-month temporary position

 

Your new role 

As a Department Assistant you will provide administrative support to management teams and employees across the area. Working independently within established procedures, you will contribute to efficient operations, strong stakeholder collaboration and a well‑functioning administrative network. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing administrative support to management teams, including meetings, seminars and daily coordination 

  • Supporting employees in the departments and maintaining department or team sites 

  • Coordinating cross‑area activities such as events, meetings and onboarding of new employees 

  • Supporting annual processes, including budget‑related and HR administrative activities 

  • Contributing to strong cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the administrative community 

 

Your new department 

You will be part of an administrative setup that supports managers and employees across the area, working closely with fellow administrators, HR, Finance and other key stakeholders. The role is primarily based at Novo Nordisk headquarters in Denmark and involves close interaction with multiple departments and functions. 

 

Your skills and qualifications 

We are looking for a structured and proactive team player with a strong service mindset. Ideally, you bring: 

  • An administrative education or similar background 

  • Around 2+ years of relevant administrative experience 

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken 

  • A structured, organised and efficient way of working 

  • A professional, discreet and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to handle confidential information

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 437,600 to 643,200 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. 
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
