Your new role
As a Student Assistant in GMS Finance Operations & Governance, you'll be anchored in the Investment Portfolio Finance team while supporting the broader department on varied tasks and processes. This role offers real responsibility and the chance to develop professional skills in a dynamic finance environment.
Your tasks will include:
- Providing administrative support, including planning and coordinating management meetings and events, maintaining mail groups and ordering office supplies
- Supporting business reviews and other strategic processes that drive decision-making across Global Manufacturing & Supply
- Contributing to recurring financial investment planning and analysis, including monthly reporting activities
- Creating and refining PowerPoint presentations to support colleagues across the area
- Taking on ad hoc tasks that give you exposure to different aspects of finance operations
We expect you to work approximately 8–15 hours per week, preferably spread over two days. We offer flexibility to accommodate exam periods and other study‑related commitments.
Our preferred start date is 1st of June 2026.

The GMS Finance Operations & Governance department is responsible for finance operations, compliance and governance across Global Manufacturing & Supply. You'll be part of a diverse and ambitious team of approximately 25 colleagues located in Denmark, supported by colleagues from Global Business Services in India. Here, you'll experience how finance enables a global supply chain while gaining insights into strategic decision-making processes.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a well-organized and proactive student who thrives in a professional environment and wants to develop their finance and business acumen.
You should have:
- Fluent or high proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- At least one year of studies remaining in your current Bachelor's or Master's degree programme – preferably within Finance or other relevant area
- Strong PowerPoint skills and high proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams
- A structured and thorough approach with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Comfort working with numbers and handling confidential information with discretion
- A proactive mindset and strong organizational skills

Salary and Benefits: This position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is 205,17 DKK, based on an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
