Your new role
As IT System Manager, you'll be responsible for the operation of IT Manufacturing solutions used in our production plant. Your role is critical in ensuring our systems meet regulatory requirements while supporting efficient, high-quality production that reaches patients worldwide.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Implementing changes to ensure continuous compliance with authority expectations, IT-security requirements, GAMP5, GMP and other regulatory standards
- Writing and approving change requests, test protocols and instructions to maintain system integrity
- Contributing to incident management and systematic problem solving within an ITIL framework
- Leading quality activities such as risk assessments to safeguard patient safety
- Presenting IT systems during audits and inspections with confidence and clarity
- Coordinating activities with different stakeholders to manage maintenance and system changes effectively
- Identifying improvements and optimizing processes using LEAN tools to drive efficiency
- Participating in projects where you help ensure new IT systems meet user and GMP requirements
This role requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark.
Your new department
In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
You'll join the IT Team covering two facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are part of GMS API IT, a central IT organisation with approximately 170 colleagues across Denmark and the US. Our team of 18 employees runs and maintains production IT solutions including PCS/DCS system "SattLine", MES/MOM system "LMES" (Local Manufacturing Execution System), and several PLC-controlled dedicated equipment. We work closely with our colleagues in the Automation/OT team to support our facilities with compliance, IT security and daily operation.
Your skills & qualifications
As our new colleague, you'll bring technical expertise combined with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. We're looking for someone who fulfils several of the following:
- An MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Computer Science, or a BSc degree within the same areas supplemented by 1-2 years' experience
- An interest in working with and developing skills in automation systems (MES, DCS, PLC)
- Strong ability to convey complex information to varying audiences and explain the purpose to get everyone onboard
- An appetite for solving complex problems to reach feasible, applicable solutions
- A strong quality mindset and analytical approach to challenges
- Knowledge or experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library – ServiceNow) is an advantage
- Fluency in English (speech and writing) is required. Working proficiency in Danish is considered a strong advantage
