Your new role
As Global Commercial Project Lead, you'll be responsible for driving key workstreams and strategic projects for ziltivekimab. You'll be at the heart of shaping commercial deliverables across three indications, advancing lifecycle management strategy, and ensuring seamless collaboration between upstream innovation and downstream market execution.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Driving preparation and alignment of commercial input to key Global Project Team workstreams, ensuring strategic coherence across functions
- Overseeing high-impact commercial projects that translate scientific, clinical, and regulatory insights into tangible market opportunities
- Leading critical elements of the ziltivekimab lifecycle management strategy
- Contributing to cross-functional submission and approval working groups to secure a competitive product label
- Identifying additional opportunities and deliverables that support the ambitious commercial vision for ziltivekimab
- Ensuring alignment of CVD and ziltivekimab strategy across all deliverables and communications
- Building strong relationships with affiliates and stakeholders to drive global readiness and optimal market entry
This role is based in Søborg, Denmark, and requires on-site presence.
Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
The CVD Strategic Marketing team is part of the global Diabetes & Therapy Area within Product & Portfolio Strategy. This dynamic, collaborative team focuses on market development, launch readiness, strategic planning, and lifecycle management for ziltivekimab. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to bring this transformative therapy to patients and shape the future of cardiovascular treatment.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a strategic thinker and skilled collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You'll bring with you:
- A master's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in commercial cross-functional drug development within the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability for portfolio-level strategic thinking and translating complex insights into actionable commercial plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English, enabling you to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to set ambitious goals, execute against plans, and drive progress even in complex stakeholder landscapes
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, agile, and collaborative approach
- Ability to thrive in changing environments with a positive attitude, even under pressure and pace
It would be an advantage if you have experience within the cardiovascular therapy area or other key areas of the Novo Nordisk value chain.
