Join us as Senior IT Solution Architect for Veeva Customer Relationship Management (CRM). In this role, you will design scalable, futureready Veeva solutions that empower commercial excellence across Novo Nordisk, translating commercial priorities into robust, highimpact architectures that enable smarter, faster ways of working. 

Your new role 

As Senior IT Solution Architect, you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end technical architecture for Novo Nordisk’s commercial Veeva landscape, covering Vault CRM, PromoMats, and MedComms. While you are the lead architect for the commercial domain, you will work closely with peer architects across other Veeva domains to ensure coherence, scalability, and long‑term platform integrity.  In this role, you will: 

• Define the architectural direction for Vault CRM, including configuration patterns, integrations, and data flows across global and affiliate systems - ensuring alignment with enterprise target architecture and cross‑Vault standards. 

• Lead architectural decisions during major programmes and beyond delivery, ensuring the Vault CRM platform is clearly owned, governed, and sustainably evolved after core build phases conclude. 

• Assess and manage architectural risks related to the ongoing migration from Salesforce‑based Veeva CRM to Vault CRM, including configuration impacts and integration dependencies. Experience with both platforms is an advantage, but hands‑on migration delivery is not required. 

• Design and govern integrations between Vault CRM and key enterprise platforms such as SAP, customer data platforms, analytics solutions, and Databricks‑based Data Mesh, applying event‑driven and interface‑first integration principles aligned with cross‑domain architecture standards. 

• Provide technical direction to teams building commercial Veeva solutions - reviewing designs, guiding configuration choices, challenging unnecessary complexity, and helping prevent technical debt. While you are not a delivery resource, teams rely on your active engagement and accessibility. 

• Contribute to the cross-enterprise governance model by participating in Design Authority, authoring Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and applying a pragmatic SaaS governance approach - distinguishing what can be configured, influenced via vendors, or must be accepted as platform constraint. 

• Serve as the commercial platform subject‑matter expert, advising senior management and global stakeholders on platform capabilities, roadmap implications, and emerging features - including Veeva AI and its commercial use cases. 

The role is expected to be based across our Ballerup and Ørestad locations. 

Your new department 

You will a team of 10 highly experienced architects and programme managers, being engaged in Veeva programs across the value chain (Clinical, Quality, Safety & CRM). Together with our colleagues in Veeva & Ecosystem, we partner tightly with our business to operate and scale enterprise platforms to full potential. For this role you will work closely with our commercial colleagues, driving digital initiatives that directly support global sales performance and commercial excellence across key markets. Besides from being engaged in the CRM programme, you will work with the team to build modern, scalable architectures that drive harmonisation across business areas.  

Your skills and qualifications 

We are looking for a Senior IT Solution Architect who possess the following experience and competencies: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience). 

• 10+ years’ experience in IT architecture, including technical strategy, governance and platform design. 

• Demonstrated expertise with Veeva Commercial Cloud (CRM & Vault), including architectural design and integration. 

• Solid understanding of scalable architectures and modern integration patterns (API, eventbased, data pipelines, etc.). 

• Experience working with Salesforce, Analytics platforms or customer data technologies. 

• Proven ability to coach senior colleagues, influence stakeholders and solve complex crossfunctional challenges. 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
