Your new role
As an HR Business Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Implement the organisation’s human resources strategy to attract, manage, develop, and retain employees needed to meet current and future goals, collaborating with functional and operational managers to align local HR plans with the overall HR strategy.
- Independently lead HR projects & execute people processes ensuring compliance with P&O policies, NNWay, and local labour laws.
- Lead and participate in organisational change initiatives and HR programmes to deliver on the organisation’s human resource requirements and support annual organisational reviews.
- Drive employer branding and external talent attraction through career fair participation and partnerships with universities.
- Embed performance management capability in managers by rolling out processes, facilitating calibration meetings, and promoting high performance across functions.
- Support talent and organisational development activities, including identifying top talent, succession planning, organising development and leadership programmes, and retention management to foster growth and succession.
- Contribute to total rewards and job evaluation processes, including compensation and benefits reviews and salary planning, while maintaining competitive HR practices in the local market.

You will be part of the People & Organisation (P&O) team at Novo Nordisk in Bangladesh. Your skills & qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- A university degree in a relevant field, preferably HR, business, organizational psychology, sociology or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is desirable.
- 4–6 years of relevant HR experience across generalist and specialist roles; international experience or prior work in a multi-national company is preferred.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong functional and technical HR expertise, and relevant IT skills including proficiency with SAP HR.
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders and being a good team player is key for this role.
