Your new role

The growing Novo Nordisk pipeline increases the need for outsourcing of many CMC activities to our CMO’s (Contract Manufacturing Organisation) globally. You will manage contract-related activities across the organisation in close collaboration with Outsourcing Managers and other relevant technical stakeholders, including drafting and reviewing agreements, leading negotiations, and ensuring compliance.

Beyond traditional contracting tasks, you will identify, shape and drive projects that enhance efficiency and innovation, leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLM) to automate and enhance contract review and negotiation processes.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with CMOs ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage document review rounds and maintain high-quality standards throughout the process.

Project Leadership

• Take full responsibility for projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, set timelines, and drive stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure timely follow-up and delivery of milestones.

Innovation with AI/LLM

• Apply proven experience in AI and LLM technologies to improve contracting workflows.
• Design and implement solutions that streamline processes and reduce complexity.

Communication & Presentation

• Create compelling storylines and deliver impactful presentations to diverse audiences.
• Prepare clear and visually engaging PowerPoint decks to support decision-making and project updates.

Your skills and qualifications

We expect you to have a Commercial or Legal Master’s degree in combination with:

• 1–3 years of experience in drafting contracts and conducting negotiations, including handling document review rounds.
• Strong project management skills with experience in establishing and executing project plans, managing stakeholders, and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Proven experience with AI/LLM projects, particularly in developing solutions for contracting process challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, including crafting narratives, building presentations, and presenting to larger audiences confidently.
• fluency in both oral and written English.

Your new area

The CMC Outsourcing team supports the Novo Nordisk development pipeline. Comprising of approximately 30 dedicated and experienced employees, the department is responsible for executing sourcing and outsourcing activities. This includes selecting competent collaboration partners, negotiating contractual frameworks, and project management until all deliverables are completed. The department is a part of CMC Product & Process Development and plays a significant role in bringing new medicinal products to the market.
