The Position
As a Senior Manager your main responsibility will be to develop and drive the pharmacovigilance function for Region EUCAN ensuring both internal and external PV compliance with the ultimate objective of ensuring Patient Safety.
Among your main responsibilities will be:
- Establish and expand the regional Pharmacovigilance function, fostering collaboration with global teams for consistent and compliant operations
- Lead PV strategy in Region EUCAN, coordinating activities to safeguard patient safety and compliance.
- Proactively identifying areas for improvements and drive solutions to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Representing Region EUCAN in various forums acting as the primary contact for PV related topics for affiliates, regional office and Global Patient Safety organization.
- Leading the EUCAN PV Leadership Team that includes affiliate safety responsible persons, maintaining full regional oversight of PV activities and optimizing processes in line with regulations and available resources.
- Supporting the audit/inspection preparation, share learnings, and identify, plan and communicate training and onboarding needs.
- Supporting on ad hoc regulatory activities
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or related medical field
- 5 years’ experience in Pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry, with solid experience of working in an international team.
- Demonstrated leadership, proven track record in managing regional pharmacovigilance activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Strong business acumen, showing agility and fast solution orientation, strong Stakeholder Management, communication with impact upwards and downwards
- Leading teams without direct reporting lines, able to create and drive a strategy
- Being solution oriented, responsible, good at details, pro-active, able to navigate easily in diverse set-up, self-motivated, independent working style.
- Advanced English language skills.

The position is based in Denmark within our Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance department. Our department plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding patient safety. We are a collaborative and dynamic team, working at the intersection of regulatory affairs and safety pharmacovigilance. Together, we strive to ensure the safety of our medicines, from clinical trials to post-marketing, while shaping future regulatory frameworks.
