The position
You will be part of a team of highly motivated and talented Medical Doctors who are passionate about drug development, medical education, and scientific communication. We offer the opportunity for you to use your medical experience, analytical skills and creativity across a variety of projects in relation to innovative treatments that will make a difference for people living with heart failure.
As a Global Medical Manager at Novo Nordisk, your responsibilities will be focused on:
• Use your medical knowledge to generate, interpret and communicate scientific data
• Execute scientific communication strategies across clinical trial phases
• Provide input to clinical trials and integrated evidence generation strategies
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, International Professional Associations, and patient advocacy groups
• Creating and executing publication strategies
• Deliver medical education through scientific meetings and symposia
• Planning insights generation activities such as advisory boards and expert insights meetings
• Provide medical education and organizational readiness through internal training activities
• Work closely with stakeholders on priority cross-functional activities.
Please note this position is a 12-month maternity leave cover. If you are successful in the role, we will aim of identifying a permanent position.
The position is based at our office in Søborg (Greater Copenhagen Area), Denmark. Worldwide travel is required, approximately 20% of the time, to attend congresses, events, and meetings.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated physician with the following qualifications:
• A physician holding a PhD, with clinical experience in treating patients
• Preferably with experience in cardiovascular diseases
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement.

About the department
You will be part of a global team within Novo Nordisk’s Medical Affairs organisation, which plays a crucial role in bridging clinical development and commercialisation. The department is responsible for driving scientific communication strategies, engaging with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the integration of patient voices into our work.Based at our global headquarters, you will collaborate with colleagues from regions and affiliates worldwide, as well as with external stakeholders such as key opinion leaders and professional associations.
