About the department

  1. Market Access & Public affairs is increasingly important in the business organization. It is to analyze relevant China healthcare reform policy trends and interpret the insight, implication and impact on the public hospitals development in order to build up long term strategic partnership with hospital leadership and management and strengthen corporate leadership positioning in diabetic innovative treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Explore innovation opportunities for NN therapeutic areas and products and assist the team in crafting innovation access strategies.
  2. Build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the public, private and non-profit sectors, including insurance companies, TPAs, central and local governments and academic intuitions.
  3. Enlarge NN innovation access ecosystem. The key players include private health insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance brokers, insurance consulting firms, TPAs and other insutech companies.
  4. Work closely cross function within the department to shape policy environment and lead the environment evolvement for innovation. Build and execute policy advocacy strategies including projects such as closed-door meetings with government officials and academic organizations, and studies to generate policy recommendations at central or local government level.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders on city supplementary insurance (CSI) for expanding market access of NN therapeutic areas and products.
  6. Initiate forward-looking access models for expanding private channels in dealing with the current threats in traditional access channels, e.g. conduct the pilot CHI projects in public hospitals.
  7. Lead efforts internally and externally to build tailored innovative payment models with NN therapeutic areas and products and be in charge of the initiative implementation process.
  8. Cross dept. working, include BU, marketing, legal and compliance, finance, commercial, medical and etc.

 

The requirements

  1. At least 3 years working experience in MNC pharmaceutical companies, and overall 5 years and above working experience in healthcare industry.
  2. Consulting background in healthcare industry is preferred.
  3. Experience in commercial health insurance or TPAs is a plus.
  4. Strategic thinking and be able to craft innovation strategies for NN products and experience on leading innovation access programs is preferred.
  5. Be sensitive to external policy environment evolvement and trends and be capable of understanding the effect to business and addressing the new issues occurred.
  6. Strong communication skills for the internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Strong willingness for teamwork and be able to take lead for projects when required.
  8. Be ambitious, outcome oriented, willingness to learn, self-motivated and delivery driven.
  9. Verbal and writing fluency in Mandarin and English id required.
