About the department
You will be joining the Business Support, IT team at our Koriyama Factory in Japan. Our factory is a hub of innovation, where we strive to integrate digital solutions to enhance operational excellence. The team is dynamic, collaborative, and driven by a shared passion for leveraging technology to create impactful changes. Located in the beautiful region of Koriyama, the factory is home to a diverse group of professionals working together to achieve ambitious goals.

The position
As a Digitalization Partner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business support functions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with various departments within the site to identify business needs and challenges and support the development and successful execution of digital initiatives, while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
• Support the ideation and prioritization process in conjunction with the Digital Transformation Lead of the upper organization, helping to shape and execute digitalization strategies and execution roadmaps.
• Oversee and monitor the progress of digitalization deliverables, ensuring that all initiatives are on track and aligned with site goals.
• Actively represent the site in the digitalization community of the upper organization to share best practices, knowledge, and innovative ideas with other sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collect and consolidate Business Intelligence (BI) ideas and requests from the site, collaborating with the BI team of the upper organization to prioritize these requests, and ensuring that BI reports for the Koriyama Factory provide accurate and up-to-date information.

Qualifications

• At least High school degree or above.
• Understanding of various digitalization technologies such as ERP, MES, BI, and planning tools.
• A proven track record in project management and digitalization required.
• Experience or familiarity in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or manufacturing industry is highly preferrable.
• Strong fluency in Japanese and English required.
