The position
As a Finance Solution Architect, you will join the Data Strategy & Design team based in Copenhagen, Denmark. A new sales forecasting solution has been designed and rolled out to help various affiliates in Novo Nordisk with the process of finance planning and reporting. 

We are eager to onboard a new person in the team who can take up the challenge to act as the solution owner and together with a wide range of stakeholders to optimise planning solutions and other SAP BW solutions, and to drive significant business impact of the end-to-end process toward the entire global finance organisation. 

Your main responsibilities will be focused on:

• Being the translator and finance solution expert between LoB Finance and IT to maintain and further develop the finance solutions in SAP BW
• Collaborating with teams who are responsible for data modelling and master data in Global Finance to support the critical end-to-end finance processes
• As solution owner of sales forecasting and commercial planning SAP BW solutions providing support to finance partners during and outside of budget cycles
• Acting as the finance solution expert to support key SAP BW projects such as data analysis, solution scoping, stakeholder management, communication and training

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have most of the following:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, IT or a related field and 2-5 years’ experience in financial planning or controlling in an analytical role
• An overall understanding of SAP BW or general data warehousing concepts, ideally with prior exposure to finance solution such of reporting or planning built on top of SAP BW
• High proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, SAP Analysis for Office and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) a plus
• Solid understanding of the digital finance landscape and digital transformation concepts are considered an additional strength
• Ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders including both finance and IT and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives
• Thrive on working in a dynamic environment, have a strong cultural under-standing and exceptional communication skills, with high command of written and spoken English
