The Position

As Regional IT Operations Manager – LATAM, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT Operations teams across Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and the CLAT area (Panama, Peru, and other LATAM sales countries). Your focus will be on delivering seamless onsite IT support, maintaining robust IT infrastructure, ensuring IT security compliance, and continuously seeking improvements and standardisation across affiliates whenever feasible. With around 2,400 end users in scope, you will also lead strategic alignment efforts with global teams and drive digital transformation initiatives to elevate operational excellence across the region.

Your role requires frequent business travels to the countries you are responsible for (at least 2 1 times per country per year). In more details, you will:

  • Leading regional IT operations and service delivery, ensuring infrastructure, support, and security services are delivered according to SLAs and KPIs, and continuously identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
  • Managing and developing a high-performing team, setting strategic direction, providing coaching, promoting engagement, and supporting continuous competency development across countries.
  • Overseeing vendor and stakeholder relationships, driving service quality, cost efficiency, and regional alignment in collaboration with local and global partners across infrastructure, service desk, and IT security.
  • Owning IT budget planning and execution for the region, including accountability for spend, forecasting, and cost transparency toward Line of Business and Global IT.
  • Acting as a strategic IT partner, building strong relationships with local leadership, ensuring user satisfaction, and supporting executive-level decision-making and regional initiatives through impactful IT leadership.

 

Qualifications

We’re seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative to drive meaningful change. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with the ability to translate big-picture goals into actionable plans and inspire those around them to deliver results. You’ll be required:

  • Degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a global IT organization, including people management. experience in a large global company.
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management (VP and abovecountry leadership teams ) and vendor management.
  • Basic understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and events. Is highly desirable to have the KCS v6, ITIL, SAFE AGILE or ITSM Certifications.
  • Proficient in English and Portuguese.Spanish is a plus
