The position
In Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) OPDev, LEAN represents more than just a set of tools; it embodies a culture and mindset that are continually evolving within our organisation. As our new CVP Lean Partner, you will work with a team of LEAN Partners supporting the areas where your responsibilities will be forming and heading up the lean strategy for OPDev, leading lean initiatives on your own and through the lean partners and enhancing the organisation's lean maturity.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and production leadership will be an advantage, as well as certifications in Lean such as Black Belt/DMAIC or 3-star.
About the department
As part of OPDev you make a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop and formulate all new processes coming out of our research units in our pilot plants, ensuring that we bring best-in-class tablets to the market.
The OPDev is an area within CMC that employs approximately 500 highly skilled people situated in Måløv and Athlone, Ireland. Our focus is to develop and manufacture solid dose tablets for pre-clinical and clinical trial phases I, II and III covering a broad and exciting range of process technologies.
You will become part of the Portfolio Management & Business Support department that consists of three separate teams that support the CVP area within different disciplines such as Training, QMS, Project Management and more. The team you will be part of is called Capacity Planning & cLEAN. In the team there are five LEAN partners, who you will be working closely with, alongside a Business Analyst and Supply Chain Planner.
