The position

Strategic Finance Manager will be responsible for driving long-term forecasting and strategic business cases development in Novo Nordisk China, to ensure a fact-based and scenario planning approach to support better decision making.

 

Major responsibilities include:

 

  • Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting to ensure clear business cases supporting better decision making;
  • Perform patient based model for newly launched products to enable solid long-term financial planning and support strategic discussion and decision making;
  • Validate and update the business case for Region China long-term strategy, as well as ensure collaboration and alignment with the global long-term forecasting (LTF) process.
  • Risk reporting to HQ.

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in consulting or business analysis;
  • Pharma industry experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Fluency in both written & spoken English
  • Strong ability of bring proposals under complex circumstances
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Strong analytical skills and rational thinking
  • Strong communication and interaction skill to with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project success on time and with high quality
  • Strong business and industry understanding
  • Ability to take initiatives for continuous improvement
  • Open, honest and ready for change
  • Ability to work independently and under stress
