About the Department

Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. Our main purpose is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.

 

The Position

As a Business Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will:

The position is of Business Analyst in the Competitor Channel Insights team and the person will be reporting to Associate Manager, Channel Dynamics. Channel Dynamics is a team established under Commercial Analytics. This team provides insights related to multi-channel activities carried out by Novo Nordisk and its competitors across International Operations (IO). Your key responsibilities as Business Analyst in this team will include:

 

Independently drive projects in cardiometabolic therapy area, with meticulous planning and execution. Also, lead projects involving multiple team members across Novo Nordisk. Analyse IQVIA Channel Dynamics dataset for generating insights related to cardiometabolic therapy area. Independently drive the existing cardiovascular (CVD) competitor channel insights deliveries and implement areas of improvement to ensure quick delivery of insights to the stakeholders. Develop custom analysis tools/dashboards in Excel, and PowerPoint. Lead scoping discussions with key stakeholders, understand business objectives, and relevance of associated data sets to provide business insights.

 

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership confidently and persuasively. Drive constructive discussions challenging the business or process, with a vision to execute it with a better approach.
  • Work closely with IO stakeholders to address key challenges related to process, efficiency and task.
  • Drive digital agenda to achieve the goal of efficiency and automation for Commercial Analytics.
  • Conduct quality checks of various deliverables, archive and ensure proper documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and independently execute tasks/projects with minimal supervision. Guide or train new members joining the team in future.

 

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in any healthcare vertical, with 5-6 years’ experience in analytics, and consulting.
  • Knowledge on various therapy areas – Diabetes, Obesity, and CVD.
  • Knowledge of data lake operations and processes.

 

Skills

  • Expert in Ms. Excel (Advanced), Ms. PowerPoint, and Ms. Word.
  • Experience in Power BI development will be an added advantage.
  • Have handled IQVIA or any such big database for analytics.
  • Good Project Management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Problem solving abilities (Solutioning).
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive approach to accomplish business and team objectives.
  • Collaborative/teamwork capabilities.
