Do you want to play an essential part in the future of digital transformation and innovation in Novo Nordisk A/S?
Are you an experienced software engineer with extensive backend development expertise? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
What to expect
Novo Nordisk continues to build and invest in in-house digital solutions, and we, in Digital Health IT (DH IT), are playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life.
Digital Health IT Product Development contributes to the overall success of DH IT by providing trusted technology experts that support both the digital products and colleagues with deep technical expertise, development efforts, and guidance across the technology stack that makes up the digital products within Digital Health.
You will join an experienced and passionate cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, Product Designer, Tech Lead, Front-, Back-end developers, Scrum Master, and Business Consultants) and support shaping the product roadmap and building new features and solutions.
What's behind the title?
Our new colleague develops and maintains the foundational frameworks that underpin Digital Health IT's mobile offerings. You will collaborate closely with software engineer colleagues to create applications that excite and engage the end-users. Moreover, you
• Iterate over ambiguous/undefined requirements with colleagues until they are sufficiently understood and defined to be worked on
• Advocate for agile ways of working in and across the company
We are dreaming of…
For you to be successful in this role, we believe that you to have backend software engineering experience (5+ years) working with advanced functionality in Microsoft’s Azure platform. You have worked on applications and products built on C#/.NET and built around .NET Core leveraging micro services, entity framework, and queues. You’re also comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL in a scalable fashion and have designed systems where data structures are distributed across systems and need to be updated independently, eventually resolving inconsistencies around the datasets.
Furthermore, you are comfortable following a DevOps methodology and a Development Process that leverages pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous deployment. Along this, you have a preference for code that is legible and descriptive over code that tries to be clever
We are waiting for you!
Digital Health IT (DHIT) is a part of Global IT and collaborates closely with Digital Health to develop, deliver, and maintain end-to-end innovative digital products to patients globally living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. DHIT is responsible for the IT part of developing and maintaining Digital Health products. These front-end solutions are directly used by patients and Healthcare Professionals, as well as the back-end services and systems that supports them.
