The Board of Directors has decided to pay out interim dividend for 2023 of DKK 6.00 for each Novo Nordisk A and B share of DKK 0.20, which will be paid in August 2023. No dividend will be paid on the company’s holding of B shares.

At the Annual General Meeting in March 2023 the shareholders approved a final dividend for 2022 of DKK 8.15 per DKK 0.20 share, paid in March 2023. Accordingly, the total dividend for 2022 amounts to DKK 12.40 per DKK 0.20 share.

Novo Nordisk does not pay a dividend on its holding of treasury shares.

At Novo Nordisk’s Annual General Meeting in March 2023, it was decided to reduce the company’s B share capital by cancelling treasury shares equal to a nominal value of DKK 5,000,000 divided in to 25,000,000 B shares of DKK 0.20 each. After the share capital reduction, Novo Nordisk’s share capital amounts to DKK 451,000,000 divided in to A share capital of DKK 107,487,200 and B share capital of DKK 343,512,800.
