General & Administration
Denmark - Bagsværd
At Novo Nordisk, we share a passion for changing patients’ lives and we are always looking for talented individuals who want to join us in this effort. Our internships provide exciting learning opportunities for students who bring new ways of thinking to our company.

About the department
Novo Nordisk Consulting is an in-house management consultancy reporting directly to the executive management. We drive key strategic projects across the full value chain of Novo Nordisk from R&D and commercial strategies to cost optimisations while working closely together with the involved departments and senior stakeholders. If you are motivated by solving difficult problems and making a difference while being part of a strong team that sets ambitious goals, you may be the person we are searching for.

You will be part of a young, dynamic department consisting of around 20 dedicated employees with backgrounds from top-tier consultancies (e.g. McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, QVARTZ, AT Kearney etc.) or with previous Novo Nordisk experience. We are ambitious and constantly strive for excellence. In your work you will get hands-on experience with the management consulting toolbox and broad stakeholder exposure.

The position
As an intern in Novo Nordisk Consulting, you will participate in various projects as a junior consultant together with more experienced project members. Your tasks will vary widely and include analyses, information gathering, participating in team problem solving, managing stakeholders and independently driving own work streams.

Your development is important to us and there will be a strong focus on it and on teaching you the foundations of the management consultant’s toolbox. Training, feedback and personal development plans are key tools to ensure your tasks continue to challenge you while developing and sharpening your toolbox.
  • Internship period: 4-6 months
  • Working hours: 37 hours a week
  • Start date: Between August and September 2018 (some flexibility)
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required
You are a Master’s degree student within Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar with an interest in management consulting and project management. You are an achiever and dedicated to deliver, among the best in your class, proficient in English and are used to working both independently and in teams. Finally, you have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.

Please note that having an EU working permit as well as being enrolled in a master class during the entire internship period is a prerequisite to take up the internship position.
