What’s the role about?
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for
facilitating, coaching, and supporting our agile teams in Global
IT Operations. You will be working both independently or in
close collaboration with other team members, and other Scrum
Masters that are distributed globally. Your role as Senior Scrum
Master is important to Novo Nordisk. The team is currently
growing and new and exciting projects are currently on the road
map. You will play a key role in making a difference for the
team, ensure ways of working and support Novo Nordisk in their
ambitious plan to help even more patients globally.
The
agile ways of working will have top priority and there is full
support from senior management to implement, adapt, check, and
adjust to agile principles and introducing new ways of working.
Your key tasks include:
• Being an agile champion
for your team which means driving teams, vendors, and customers
in Novo Nordisk’s Agile way of working
• Acting as a
change ambassador to drive the learning culture and the agile
mindset in your agile teams
• Supporting your agile team
members to reach their goals
• Keeping track of and help
solve impediments and escalate if necessary
• Helping
the team to manage their progress via transparent backlog and
board overviews, as well as preparing and aligning expectations
before and during events
• Actively participating in the
Scrum Master community of practice and the Scrum Master
community in the ART
What are we looking for?
As an ideal candidate you have:
• A bachelor
(B.Sc.) or master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Business Administration,
Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
• At least 5
years of Scrum Master experience, in enterprise
environments
• Experience working within a SAFe
framework and knowledge on when to applying Kanban
•
Strong change management and communication skills, with focus
on leading teams to delivery excellence
• Fluency in
written and spoken English

We are situated in our new IT hub in Ballerup, together
with around 900 other colleagues in the Digital Data & IT
(DD&IT) area.
The position is based in Global IT
Operations (GITO) - an area with 400+ employees distributed
across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure
operations and digital workplace services.
We work in a
truly global organization based on agile principles, and
continuously strive to improve our ways of working.
The
GITO Strategy and Transformation department is a team of highly
skilled and dedicated people. We are a team of dedicated Scrum
Masters, helping our agile teams in delivering on the features
agreed at the PI’s. As a department, we have a strong focus on
teamwork and collaboration, we are setting the direction in
working with agile deliveries and coaching agile delivery teams,
and we are embracing new ideas on how to successfully deliver
and introduce new ways of working. We are on an exciting journey
applying agile ways of working in our organization, and our work
will be delivered according to the SAFe framework with agile
teams running iterations.
