The position

Oral drug delivery is a key component of our company’s strategy, and your role as Formulation Specialist is important for us to progress. Your main objective will be to formulate therapeutic proteins and peptides into oral solid dosage forms and participate in the development of innovative oral drug delivery systems. Innovation and scientific development are key parts of your role, handling specialist tasks of high complexity working partly in the lab, but also across functions and with people to develop and optimize our research.


Working alongside talented international colleagues, you will share ideas and inspiration across different scientific areas. A part of your job will be to act as mentor for junior colleagues within field of expertise.


As a Formulation Specialist you will furthermore:

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise with in-depth knowledge and experience
  • Provide strong knowledge within specific processes and extensive business understanding
  • Drive projects progression, contribute with oral formulation expertise, give input to project plans, present data, challenge and discuss results and issues, demonstrate good stakeholder management and cross collaborate
  • Coordinate tasks in scientific research projects as well as various, internal organizational projects



You are driven by the basic tenet of science – to take on something that people think can’t be done, and to go way beyond where we are today.  You apply your creativity to find solutions to the scientific challenges you encounter during your research, and you share knowledge and experience freely with other scientists, lab technicians and researchers to further our common cause.

You hold a relevant PhD degree in Life Sciences (pharmaceutical sciences or other relevant discipline) and have minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience, including 2-3 years from a relevant, innovative role in early stage research in industry or academia.


Furthermore, you meet the following qualifications:

  • You are perceived as an expert within areas of oral formulation and drug delivery
  • Extensive experience in developing tablet formulations and other innovative drug delivery systems
  • A track record of innovative research within oral formulation or drug delivery is essential
  • Insight into the physiology of the GI-tract
  • Business understanding and cross functional stakeholder management competencies

At Oral Formulation Research in Måløv, Denmark, you’ll join an international, ambitious and collaborative early research team.
