Build a global career driving the end-to-end supply chain from sourcing and manufacturing to planning and delivery in the market. Through three rotations across Supply Chain, including an international experience, you will turn data into decisions, create business impact and help ensure that our products reach patients when they need them.

The Supply Chain Graduate Programme is a two year programme anchored at Novo’s headquarters in Denmark. Through three rotations across different Supply Chain areas, you will gain a broad understanding of how we orchestrate the end-to-end value chain with strong links to both development and commercial activities.

Your first and third rotations will take place in Denmark, and in your second rotation, you will gain international experience at one of our country or regional offices. Throughout all rotations you will build a broad network across our global organisation and will be able to orchestrate effectively.

Example of a Supply Chain Graduate’s journey

A Supply Chain Graduate’s journey could take you from the heart of our production network to the patients we serve:

1. Supply Chain Design, HQ, Denmark: Support make or buy decisions to build our network for the future

2. Country/Regional Office: Drive demand planning for new product introductions

3. Supply Chain, Manufacturing Site: Drive demand planning for new product introductions

The Supply Chain Graduate Programme is designed to accelerate your development by giving you breadth, responsibility and hands-on experience early in your career.

Across three rotations, including an international rotation, you will build a broad understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain and how planning, sourcing, production, logistics and delivery work together. You will gain experience in areas such as short-, mid- and long-term planning, supply chain operations, digital supply chain, data driven decision making and supply chain optimisation.

As supply chain becomes more attuned to the people who use our products, you will explore how changing patient needs and market demand can inform planning and delivery decisions. You will take on real Supply Chain challenges and gradually increase your level of responsibility. Through your rotations, you will build a broad technical and professional skill set by contributing to projects focused on improving supply, aligning production with market needs, optimising processes and supporting future Supply Chain decisions.

Along the way, experienced specialists, leaders and mentors will support your professional development. Working with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions, sites and countries will help you build a strong international network within Supply Chain and Novo.
