Help shape how Novo brings medicines to the people who need them. Through rotations in headquarters and international affiliates, you’ll learn how customer insights inform marketing strategy, product launches and future commercial approaches.
The Global Commercial Marketing Graduate Programme is a two year opportunity to develop your commercial and marketing expertise while contributing to the future of Novo. Your three rotations take you from global strategy closer to the customers and markets we serve.
You will begin in our headquarters in Denmark, where you will work within Product Portfolio Strategy, experiencing how teams develop commercial strategies, prepare markets for product launches and maximise the potential of products throughout their lifecycle.
During the programme, you will gain insight into global and local pharmaceutical marketing, market development, sales challenges, product management, and potential launch execution. You will engage with customers and other stakeholders to gather market insights and help translate them into effective commercial strategies. You will also learn how Novo works across the product lifecycle management to create value and build sustainable competitiveness.
Your journey could include:
1. Obesity strategic Marketing, Denmark: Build an understanding of commercial strategy and product lifecycle management while contributing to portfolio assessments and strategic recommendations.
2. Affiliate Marketing, Spain: Support local market preparation and marketing activities, gather customer and market insights, and contribute to launch readiness, local marketing initiatives, key opinion leader engagement and the execution of commercial excellence initiatives.
3. Sales or strategic commercial role: Gain first-hand experience of customer engagement, sales and commercial execution while taking responsibility for customer and sales targets or work on a strategic commercial project.
Assignments and locations will vary, but each rotation will give you a new perspective on how global strategy becomes local action.
You will gain experience across global and local marketing, customer engagement and commercial execution. You will develop your understanding of products and markets while building skills in marketing strategy, digital and AI enabled ways of working, and project delivery.
You will take responsibility for meaningful work, collaborate across functions and cultures, and learn from colleagues throughout Novo. Structured development, mentoring and the global graduate community will support your growth.
By the end of the programme, you will have a broad understanding of commercial marketing and a strong foundation for a long-term career in Novo’s marketing functions.
