Your journey in AMSAT Development Academy

Applicants should have recently completed or be on the verge of finishing a master’s degree within life science, with above average academic performance.

It is beneficial to have relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry through studies, internships, or student jobs.

Being open to international relocation is a must, along with proficiency in spoken and written English.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, be able to handle diverse tasks and information effectively.

A proactive, inquisitive nature and a keenness for continuous learning are highly valued.

A collaborative mindset, great communication abilities, and the capacity to adapt swiftly are essential traits we look for.

Start in February 2026. Applications open in June 2025.

September 2025: Screening of applications and first interviews online

Early October 2025:  Assessment Day in Bagsværd, Denmark

Mid October 2025: Final interviews and offers extended.

Step 1:

Apply by filling in details about you and your educational background. You’ll be asked to upload your CV, latest academic records and a motivational letter. Please share with us why you want to be a part of the AMSAT Development Academy.

Step 2:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial online or phone interview with the programme manager or a local HR representative. The candidates who are not invited for an interview will be notified by e-mail.

Step 3:

Selected candidates from 1st interview will be invited to Bagsværd in Denmark, for an in-person assessment day. Candidates will be asked to participate in team assignments and will get a chance to know Novo Nordisk and the Development Academy. Travel expenses are covered.

Step 4:

The final pool of candidates will be invited for a second interview (in-person or online). This interview will require some personal assignments, and the positions will subsequently be offered to selected candidates. Feedback will be provided to all of those who attend the final interview stage.

  • The AMSAT Development Academy is designed as a fast-track learning journey to prepare you for a position in AMSAT.
  • It is a permanent full-time remunerated position. When approaching the end of the rotation, we will support you in transferring to your future position in AMSAT depending on your competences, business needs, and development wishes

Yes, as long as you graduate before 1 February 2026. It is okay if you have not received your official graduate diploma before starting, as long as you have finished your studies and are just waiting for the official papers.

Yes, the Development Academy Programme is a regular full-time position, and your salary will be comparable to an entry level position.

Yes, travel expenses for international applicants on economy class to and from the Assessment Day will be reimbursed. Please keep receipts to verify costs.
