A qualified pharmacist, founded Novo Terapeutisk Laboratorium together with his brother Harald Pedersen in 1925.
August Krogh a professor at the University of Copenhagen, received the Nobel Prize in physiology in 1920. His wife, Marie Krogh, was a doctor and a researcher in metabolic diseases.
