About the department
In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to market approval, as well as life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while ensuring that the processes live up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams, with a focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.
In Trial Operations, we are responsible for the planning, execution and finalisation of global clinical trial activities in phase 2-4. We are organised in global project teams, focusing on projects within diabetes, obesity or biopharmaceuticals. You will be part of a team of Clinical Project Managers, International Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Administrators.
We collaborate with external vendors, internal stakeholders across skill areas and our colleagues in the Novo Nordisk affiliates worldwide. As International Trial Manager, you act as a Project Manager with the responsibility to plan, coordinate and manage clinical trial activities from preparation of the study protocol to reporting of the trial. You will develop relevant trial documents, including recruitment strategies, communication plans and trial budgets. You will be leading a trial related international study group responsible for planning and conducting the trials. Through this you will cooperate closely with a variety of colleagues across the Novo Nordisk organisation and skill areas. In addition, you will be part of the preparation of, and conduct Investigator and Monitor meetings prior to trial start.
You hold a relevant degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Health Science or equivalent. Experience with clinical trials and knowledge of clinical trial methodology is required. You have solid project management skills and work in an independent manner. We expect you to have the drive and focus to meet challenging deadlines and the ability to prioritise between different tasks in a dynamic environment. You are a dedicated team player with a high degree of flexibility and cross-cultural awareness who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
