Are you studying for your Master’s degree and looking for exciting hands-on experience within Finance, Controlling and Business Management? Do you have an ambitious plan to become Finance Manager in the future? Then you might be the new intern we are looking for in Corporate Facilities Finance.


About the department

Real estate, Joint operations & Finance is part of Corporate Facilities in Novo Nordisk. In our team, we drive cross functional processes and strategic projects ensuring that the line of Business, our facility service and building project departments in Corporate Facilities can focus on their core responsibilities. Further, we are responsible for managing and controlling an annual cost budget of around DKK 2 billion and a net book value of DKK 4 billion.


The aim of the Finance team is to create value through finance partnering with our stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a deep understanding of the business in which we operate. To do this we collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. We invest significantly in developing our employees through sparring, feedback and by giving a high level of responsibility to individuals.


The position

As Finance & Controlling intern you will be part of a young and ambitious finance team where you will be exposed to a broad range of business controlling tasks. In addition to preparing budgets, internal reporting and financial analyses you will get the opportunity to initiate and execute business development projects that add value to the organisation. In your daily job, you will work closely with the Business Partners and stakeholders in the organisation. Furthermore, you will develop your technical skills and insight within a number of systems, incl. SAP and Think-cell. The job will give you extensive insight into the daily business controlling and support tasks in a multinational organisation which forms a valuable basis for a future finance and business management track.


  • Internship period: 4-6 months
  • Working hours: Full time (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 1 February 2019
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required



We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a passion for financial business management and analysis. You are currently studying for your Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management or another relevant field. We expect you to master both English and a Scandinavian language verbally and written, that you have the skills to analyse large datasets and that you can work both independently and in teams.


As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across different professions and regions and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work even when pressure is on. We expect you to be service minded, that you thrive in a busy environment and that you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
