Are you driven by teamwork and cross-functional collaboration to solve challenging business tasks? Do you strive to create change by optimizing manufacturing processes? Do you want to be part of a successful team that makes a difference to 28 million patients around the world? Then Novo Nordisk Kalundborg invites you to participate in our Manufacturing Intelligence international master student internship.

Your successful future starts with us.

About the department

You will get the opportunity to join an international, high-performing team in Kalundborg that is responsible for our Manufacturing Intelligence program. The primary goal of the program is to identify relevant manufacturing data from various systems in the value chain and turn it into knowledge that can drive strong business results.

The internship position

This program is an excellent opportunity to get to know our business and to get practical experience within your field of study. As an intern, you will work in a group with five other students within business, technology and science disciplines. In the group you will manage and deliver your own project, taking on more and more responsibility as you develop your skills and understanding of our business. You will have strong support from both experts and the manufacturing intelligence team.

We are an organization that is constantly looking to find even better ways of doing things, so you will be empowered to innovate and to pioneer new solutions.

Am I qualified?

In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in production and business support functions, we establish an analytical platform integrating three dimensions: manufacturing management processes, IT infrastructure and business priorities.

We expect you to have the skills to take responsibility for complex tasks involving many different stakeholders across different business areas. Furthermore, you must have the ability to work independently using sound judgment to make wise decisions and to ask, when in doubt.

As a master student intern in Manufacturing Intelligence you will:

  • Understand production data
  • Design appropriate development and deployment strategies
  • Establish and execute reference solutions to support industry use cases

As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and geography, and you bring a healthy sense of humor to your work – even when under pressure. We expect you to be a service-minded team player, you thrive in a busy environment, and you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
