In Novo Nordisk, Regulatory Affairs secure the approval of new multi billion-dollar products and drug indications, making it possible for the company to bring innovative products to patients. We stand at the centre of project planning and execution from the earliest stages of drug development all the way through life-cycle management.

Medical Affairs is tasked with managing external relations in the scientific and medical community through formulating publication plans, relaying clinical knowledge, and creating educational material. 

In our Safety department, we are the driving force in ensuring highest safety and lowest possible risk to the many patients worldwide that use our products. This skilled and advanced pharmacovigilance function monitors, detects, and assesses side effects globally.

During the 2-year programme, you will undertake two rotations at our headquarters in Denmark and one in a global affiliate, e.g. Dubai, Switzerland, Brazil or the US. You will work as a fully–fledged member of the team and play an instrumental role in ensuring that the Novo Nordisk R&D organisation realise it’s vision of achieving and sustaining best in class medicine to make a difference for the millions of patients who rely on our products.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A recent Master’s or PhD degree in natural science, for example within pharmacy, chemical engineering, biology, biotechnology, biomedicine or a related field and above average academic achievements
  • International experience
  • Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies
  • A global mind-set, ability to adapt quickly to change and displaying agility
  • Team-player, excellent communication skills, high drive and an eagerness to learn
  • Globally mobile and professional fluency in English

In Global Development, we lead the clinical activities from when a drug candidate enters clinical testing, through the submission and approval phase, and when it has entered the market.

Our responsibility is to provide medical and scientific documentation for the clinical benefit risk evaluation that is part of submission packages to authorities and which form the basis for guidance in how to use the medicines optimally for the benefit of patients.

As part of the 2-year programme, you will undertake two rotations in our corporate headquarters in Denmark and one in one of our global affiliate locations.  The programme will give you an understanding of our core business with an international perspective.

You will be hired into one specific track (e.g. Trial Management, Data Management, Medical Writing, Epidemiology, Data Science etc.). The focus of the three rotations will take its departure in the specific track and be designed around the business needs as well as taking into consideration your academic background and interests.

You will receive formal training and gain knowledge and invaluable international experience leading to both professional and personal development, while working as a fully–fledged member of your team. Managers and mentors as well as a huge global, network of current and former graduates are ready to guide and support you along the way and alongside your professional training directly related to your role, you will also get an opportunity in participating in cross-functional initiatives with your fellow Graduates.
