Human growth hormone (hGH)

Human growth hormone (hGH) is a biosynthetic hormone replacement therapy. It is 100% identical to the natural growth hormone produced by the body and must be injected in order to work properly.

Norditropin® hGH has been developed by Novo Nordisk A/S. It is approved in selected countries for the treatment of the following growth disorders:

  • Growth hormone deficiency (GHD)
  • Growth hormone deficiency in adults (GHDA)
  • Small for gestational age (SGA)
  • Turner syndrome
  • Skeletal dysplasia
  • Chronic renal disease
